With even more extra features than the previous two. Disc 3 is loaded with eight documentaries. Luckily they’re all short enough that I had time to watch them all.

"Twist and Shoot" spotlights the season's new directors, promoted from other behind the scenes jobs. It's an unusually technical featurette for a show that thrives on breaking formula, but it's a nice familial spot. The former AD talks about his directing tricks but don't explain how they did them. The former DP gives more analysis of techniques. The third simply shared anecdotes.

"Don't Try This At Home" is about the show's stunts, which is a great exploration of the show's physical comedy. It goes over the famous "cowboy switch" technique which is an old trick. Then they get into some really interesting stuff including using footage from Vanilla Sky.

"Long Term Residents" is about frequent guest stars. It's all Bill Lawrence talking about them, no word from the actual stars, but he shares some nice anecdotes about how he got them and what they brought to their guest spots.

"What Up Dawg?" is about the dogs everyone brings to the set. Dog loves will think it's cute. Show fans will be amused by John C. McGinley's reaction to the dogs.

"Scrubs Factor" is about cast and crew competitions. It's got some good behind the scenes story of gross things people did, and the kind of ridiculous insights that you'd expect from a Scrubs DVD.

"Robert Keeps Talking" is a dream come true for fans of "The Todd." Robert Maschio gives soundbites that are both revealing about his real life and career, but he hardly gets through a single one without making a very Todd-like joke.

"The New Elliot" is actually a very interesting TV land documentary. It's about the necessity in television to make women attractive, which leads to more substantial developments in Sarah Chalke's character.

"Is There a Doctor in the House?" is about the season's arcs. It focuses on the JD/Elliott relationship. Even though it's kind of a recap of the season we already know, it is interesting to hear how their plan all along was to destroy the expectations to get the stars together.

Then there are the deleted scenes, alternate takes, outtakes and commentaries up to par with previous seasons.
